The conclusion of a dramatic World Cup is upon us with the final set to take place just outside New York. The final will mark the 104th game of the tournament with Spain set to face Argentina which is sure to be an instant classic.
Argentina are on the brink of back-to-back World Cup titles when they face Spain in Sunday’s final. The two sides have not met in the World Cup since 1966, where Spain were knocked out of the Group Stage. Can Messi solidify his status as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport or will Mikel Merino step up with another late winner to deny Argentina?
What markets are available?
Dive into our extensive range of player markets and wager on a player you believe will shine in the final with our Goalscorer and Assist markets. Specific player markets are settled by Opta, and you can find the full Soccer Rules for more information.
What happens if my player gets subbed off?
With Sub On Play On, your bet is rolled over to their replacement, with no change in odds. Say you’ve bet on Player A to score 2 or more goals, but he only scores 1. He is then subbed for Player B. Player B scores 1 goal, taking your overall tally to 2 goals – and your bet wins. You can enjoy the excitement of the final without worrying about substitutions – leave that to the managers. What happens to my bet if the match goes to Extra Time?
For this year's competition, we're extending play. Your bets on select player markets will now carry over to extra time if the game is tied after 90 minutes (excluding penalty shootouts). So, if you've placed a bet on a player to Score at Any Time and they score right at the end of extra time, your bet will be settled as a win. You can tell which markets are included in this settlement change, as they will be marked with the 'ET Includes Extra Time' label. If you've placed a bet with Sub On Play On, this will also be extended into extra time, so you can enjoy the game right to the end.

What other markets are available?
Aside from Player markets, we also have a range of Match and Team markets for you to pick from. This includes markets such as “Both Teams to Score” and “Double Chance”.
However, bets such as these are still settled within regulation time and therefore do not include Extra Time. Look out for the “90+ stoppage time” and the “ET Includes Extra Time” labels to determine how your bet will be settled.
What is VAR and how does it impact my bet?
The VAR (Video Assistant Referee) assists with game-changing decisions during a match. This includes goals, penalties, and for the World Cup only, second yellow cards and corners.
This can lead to voided bets, Cash Out being unavailable and impact the time it takes for a market to settle.
For more information on VAR settlement please click here.
Can I Cash Out?
If you’ve changed your mind, or it doesn’t look like the game is going your way, Cash Out lets you settle your bet early and secure a return based on the current state of the event before it has finished.
If Cash Out is available, it will be visible underneath your selections on your bet slip, with the Cash Out value displayed.
Why is my Cash Out Unavailable?
While we always appreciate Cash Out is a popular feature, there may be situations where it is unavailable. In these instances, you will not be offered an amount or when trying to confirm Cash Out it will be rejected.
For more information, please see our Cash Out page.
